POSITION TYPE: Part- Time (8 hours/week)
REPORTS TO: Change Conference Event Director
 
Primary Objective:
YFC Canada exists to see "every young person living fully in Christ." At Change Conference, a ministry of YFC Canada, our vision is for every youth in Canada to hear, respond to, and live out the message of Jesus in their lives. Change Conference currently serves every province and territory in Canada and engages with over 15 thousand youth and youth leaders. This dual-purpose role supports both logistical/inventory and creative content development for Change Conference events. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, reconciliation, and storage organization.
Creatively, the Logistics and Content Support will assist the Content and Creative Manager with a variety of projects and behind-the-scenes coordination. This may involve supporting the setup and tear-down of film shoots, managing equipment and materials, helping execute creative concepts, and providing hands-on support.
Reporting to the Event Director, the Logistics and Content Support will work closely with the entire Change Conference team, storage facilities, and merchandise vendors. A high level of organization and accountability is essential. This position is also responsible for maintaining storage facilities and internal tracking documents to monitor inventory and stock.
Responsibilities:

SPIRITUAL AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT (5%)
  1. Is a faithful and contributing member of a local church.
  2. Pray for and with the YFC Canada Team.
  3. Spend time in spiritual reflection and development.
  4. Have regular rhythms of spiritual retreat.
  5. Participate in regular Staff Meetings, which include spiritual practices like worship, Scripture reading, and prayer.
  6. Attend local YFC Regional Gathering and the National Ministry conference as requested by supervisor.
  7. Participate in training and development courses, conferences, and workshops as approved by supervisor.
 
ASSIST TEAM WITH SHIPPING, RECEIVING & INVENTORY (60%)
  1. Oversee all storage units used for Change Conference events, ensuring they are consistently organized, secure, and accessible.
  2. Responsible for ensuring all necessary items from the storage unit are packed, transported, and accounted for at each Change Conference event.
  3. Maintain a clear inventory system for all stored items, including signage, supplies, merchandise, tech gear, and event materials. Conduct thorough inventory counts of all storage unit contents twice a year to ensure accurate records and identify any missing or damaged items.
  4. Receive and process incoming shipments, confirming contents and storing items in their appropriate locations within the storage unit. Assist the Event Director in confirming that all expected packages have arrived at the storage units and are accounted for.
  5. Identify and remove outdated, damaged, or unnecessary items from storage in coordination with relevant team members.
  6. Prepare and pack items from the storage unit for transport to event venues, and assist in their return post-event. Ensure all items are properly packed up, returned, and organized in the storage unit after each event.
  7. Support the packing and shipping of necessary items to out-of-province locations for remote or touring Change Conference events.
  8. Provide logistical support for filming days as needed, including preparing and transporting necessary equipment and supplies.
  9. Coordinate the logistics of transporting merchandise to the appropriate location in time for merch drops.
  10. Track and recover lost packages, ensuring all shipments make it to the necessary destination.
  11. Assist with sponsor mailing/thank you’s as needed.
  12. Coordinate with the team; the pick-up and drop of all materials, (foodstuffs, equipment, office supplies etc.).
  13. Be present for all filming, production, and set-up days.
  14. Work with the Change Conf team to sort and distribute prizes for events
  15. Assist team with post-event wrap-up; thank-yous, event debrief and communications.
 
CONTENT SUPPORT & SOCIAL MEDIA (20%)
  1. Take a proactive role in developing relevant and engaging content ideas for Reels, TikToks, and other short-form media that reflect the heart and energy of Change Conference, while working with the Content and Creative Manager
  2. Stay up to date on current trends and youth culture to help guide creative direction for social media content.
  3. Collaborate with the communications team to plan and execute a consistent posting strategy across platforms.
  4. Assist in managing videographers during filming days, ensuring content is captured efficiently and aligns with the creative vision.
  5. Help organize and archive photo and video content for easy access before, during, and after events.
  6. Oversee Reels video shoots in the lead-up to events and coordinate merch photo shoots to ensure high-quality, on-brand content is produced and delivered on time.
  7. Assist with other creative elements as needed, such as contributing to branding ideas, merch design, stage hosting (MCing), and general creative brainstorming for events and campaigns.
 
PARTNER DEVELOPMENT (10%)
  1. Gathering financial and prayer support from the Christian community.
  2. Build a base of prayer partners and keep them updated through regular communications and prayer requests. Encourage prayer partners to pray for youth in Canada and globally.
  3. Meet personal fundraising goals towards the ministry of YFC Canada.
 
MEETINGS/ADMINISTRATION (5%)
  1. Attend the National Staff meetings (both virtual and in person).
  2. Participation in monthly Change Conference team meetings and biweekly one-on-one meetings with your supervisor.
  3. Participate in staff chats and employee engagement surveys.
  4. Attend at least three events on behalf of the Change Conference annually.

Compensation

$9,000.00 - $9,500.00 per year
